Athlete of the Week for March 31: Lizzy Schossow

  Adams State sophomore Lizzy Schossow has been named as this week’s ASCGrizzlies.com and Paw Print Athlete of the Week. Schossow hit a solid .600 (6-for-10) in four games, picking up her first two home runs of the season, while also cranking out two doubles and nabbing five RBI.

Wilson Named as Grizzlies’ Head Men’s Basketball Coach

Chris Day ASC Sports Information Louis Wilson, most recently the associate head coach at NCAA Division I California State University-Northridge, has been named as Adams State College’s new head men’s basketball coach. Grizzly director of athletics Larry Mortensen made the announcement Friday afternoon.

Grizzly Women Tabbed First in RMAC Outdoor Track Poll

Chris Day ASC Sports Information Adams State College will begin their hunt for a record-extending seventh straight Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference women’s outdoor track and field title this weekend when the Grizzlies, tabbed as the conference’s preseason favorites, compete at the Tom Benich Classic at the University of Northern Colorado’s Nottingham Field on Saturday.
