SciFinder is an excellent resource for chemistry research and can be used to search for substances, reactions, and patent and journal references.

SciFinder provides unlimited access to the world’s largest and most reliable collection of chemistry information and is available to Adams State students, faculty and staff for the remainder of 2013.

Each SciFinder user must register individually, using this link. Once you’ve registered your account, go to SciFinder’s sign in page to log in. If you need help registering, view the End User Registration Guide or email Nicole LeBoeuf for assistance.

Aesthetica Digital Vault

The UK art publication Aesthetica has recently started offering their stunning magazine as a downloadable PDF at the Aesthetica Digital Vault. You need a password to get in, so click here to access the Adams State Library passwords page for the required information.

Oxford Art Online Trial

Oxford Art Online is one of the most highly regarded art reference databases in academia. It allows the user to search a number of art-specific dictionaries and encyclopedias including The Oxford Companion to Western Art, The Encyclopedia of Aesthetics and The Benezit Dictionary of Artists, among other important art reference works. It also has an image search that allows users to search by keyword and access a variety of high quality images from famous painters. This database will be offered until the end of May.
