ASU Presidential Candidate Forums – Invitation to ALL Exempt Professional Staff

As you are well aware, the candidate pool for the next ASU President has reached the final three candidates. PASC has worked with the search committee and the President’s Office to have a dedicated 90 minute session with each candidate for all exempt professional staff. We would love to have as many of our fellow exempt professional staff attend these forums as possible. The PASC has a list of questions that we’ve gathered from everyone and will facilitate the discussion with each of the candidates. Please make every attempt to attend if you are able to, as it is extremely important that we are involved in this critical process for ASU.  The sessions start this Thursday, below are the meeting dates, times and locations:

-Thursday, March 5th – Richard Duran – 1:30-3:00 PM in McDaniel Hall Room 101

-Wednesday, March 11th – Ricardo Maestas – 1:30-3:00 PM in Student Union Building Room 309

-Thursday, March 19th – Beverlee McClure – 1:30-3:00 PM in McDaniel Hall Room 101

Again, we hope to see you there! For further details including details on each of the candidates, please visit the Presidential Search Timeline page at http://www.adams.edu/president/search/timeline.php

Thank you,

Kevin Daniel, on behalf of PASC

Presidential Candidate Q&A Sessions

Good afternoon everyone,

As I’m sure you’ve heard by now, the search committee has narrowed the candidates for ASU’s next President down to four. For the full announcement, please click here. The PASC representatives on the search committee are working with the Board of Trustees to find a time for professional administrative staff to meet with the candidates and have a series of Q&A sessions. We do not know the dates and times yet, but the council wants to ensure all professional administrative staff have an opportunity to contribute questions as well as to attend as many of the sessions as possible. Below is the plan for moving this forward:

  • Submit your questions on our official PASC blog: Visit http://blogs.adams.edu/pasc and then navigate to the “comments” section of the announcement titled “Presidential Candidate Q&A Sessions.” You will need to be logged in using your ASU credentials to post. The questions will be moderated, so don’t be concerned if you don’t see your comment/question show up right away. Once we know the logistics, we will compile the questions, eliminate duplicates and take them forward to the Q&A sessions
  • If you would prefer, you may send your questions directly to your PASC representative(s). For your reference, here is the currently elected council and the areas they represent:

Once we have received the meeting dates, times and locations, we will be notifying all Professional Administrative Staff. The council will be attending as many of the meetings as possible, and want to encourage all professional administrative staff to attend them as well. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your PASC representative.

Thank you,

Kevin Daniel, Chair of PASC
