August 27th, 2015 — Announcement
ASU Computing Services is pleased to announce that today (8/27) we upgraded our overall campus Internet bandwidth from 400 Mbps (megabits per second) to 500 Mbps. For the last several years, we’ve been working to keep up with the bandwidth needs of our campus, and we are hoping this increase will further improve our service to our students and employees.
Having trouble connecting to our network? Our friendly Helpdesk and ResNet technicians are available to help! Please stop by the ASU Computing Services Helpdesk located directly between the Rex Activity Center and the campus green for assistance. You can also call us at 719-587-7741 or send us an email at computingservices@adams.edu

August 7th, 2015 — Announcement, Maintenance Announcements
Last night Computing Services upgraded all campus computers from Java 7 to Java 8. If a computer was not on during the time of the install and does not yet have Java 8 you may receive the following error message:
“Internet Explorer has blocked this website from installing an Active X control”
To fix the issue please install Java 8 from the Software Center.
You may have a shortcut on the desktop for the Software Center. If you do not, you can find it in:
Start > All Programs > Microsoft System Center > Configuration Manager > System Center.
Under the “Available Software” tab, select Java 8 update 51, then select install. Note, any open web browsers will close as part of the installation.
Once the install is complete you should be able to log into Banner.
Thanks!
