Banner DEVL Downtime and CS Maintenance for this week (June 15-16)

***Banner DEVL Downtime for Thursday, 6/15 through Friday, 6/16***

A clone of Banner Production (PROD) to Banner Development (DEVL) will be performed this week. DEVL will be unavailable for ~18 hours beginning Thursday, June 15th, at 9:00 AM MST to Friday, June 16th at ~12:00 PM MST. We expect no impact to users outside of Computing Services.

Beginning at 9:00 PM MST Thursday evening, Computing Services will be installing June 2023 Microsoft patches/updates to our test systems for future deployment. We anticipate no impact for client-facing systems.

Workday Downtime and CS Maintenance this week

***Workday Downtime for Friday, 6/9 through Saturday, 6/10***

Due to Workday scheduled maintenance, the Workday production tenant will be unavailable for a maximum of 7 hours beginning Friday, June 9th at 11:00 PM MST to Saturday, June 10th at ~06:00 AM MST.

Sandbox, Sandbox Preview, and Implementation tenants will be down for a maximum of 12 hours: Friday 5 PM to Saturday 5 AM.

Tomorrow night (Thursday, 6/8) we will be performing maintenance on our server cluster, which will cause brief downtime for Banner Production and DegreeWorks as the systems reboot.

Due to quarterly planned maintenance, the Workday production tenant will be unavailable for a maximum of 11 hours beginning Friday, May 19th at 12:00 AM MST to Saturday, May 20th at ~11:00 AM MST.

***Computing Services Maintenance for Wednesday 5/17 and Thursday, 5/18***

Tonight (Wednesday, 5/17) beginning at 8:00 PM, all Banner Production services will be unavailable until around midnight as we install critical Oracle PSU security patches to our systems. Tomorrow night (Thursday, 5/18) we will be installing the monthly Microsoft updates to our production servers. There will be brief interruptions to various network services lasting between 5-15 minutes as these systems reboot.

Computing Services Maintenance for Thursday, 3/23/23

Beginning at 5:30 PM MST, Thursday evening, we will be disabling and uninstalling CLEAN Address from the Banner Production environment. During this work, users will experience a brief interruption (~15 minutes) to AppNav services as the work is performed. 

Also on Thursday evening, but beginning at 9:00 PM MST, we will be:

  • Installing March updates on all Windows production servers. During the installation of these updates, users will experience intermittent outages (5-15 minutes) and brief interruptions to network services as systems reboot.
  • Performing back-end maintenance on various back-end servers. No user interruptions are anticipated.
