March 7th, 2019 — Announcement, Maintenance Announcements
Computing Services will be upgrading the firmware on the campus VoIP phones tonight at 5:30 PM. There is a chance that some phones will reboot during the process. During this reboot, computers that are plugged directly into the phones will also have a brief outage to the network. The reboots should take less than two minutes to complete.
Also, beginning at 4:30 AM Friday, March 8th and lasting until roughly 5:00 AM, Computing Services will continue our testing of our new secondary Internet connection that will result in intermittent outages to our campus Internet connection. We chose this time in order to minimize any impact to campus Internet use. This secondary link will effectively double the amount of Internet bandwidth available to campus.

February 8th, 2019 — Announcement, Maintenance Announcements
We began experiencing issues with our upstream Internet provider late yesterday afternoon and have opened a trouble ticket with CenturyLink. They are currently investigating the issue in their system and hope to have services fully restored as soon as possible. In the meantime, you may experience slowness and time-outs to various websites until CenturyLink resolves the problem.
Sorry for the inconvenience, and we appreciate your patience with this intermittent problem.
