In preparation for the start of Fall semester, Computing Services has several maintenance activities scheduled for the week of August 10-12, 2023. See below for details:
***Computing Services Maintenance for Thursday, 8/10***
Beginning at 9:00 PM MT Thursday evening, Computing Services will be installing August 2023 Microsoft patches/updates to our test systems for future deployment. We anticipate no impact for client-facing systems.
Also starting at 9:00 PM MT, we will be performing maintenance on several back-end systems. No direct user impact is anticipated.
***Degree Works PROD Downtime for Thursday, 8/10 through Friday, 8/11***
On Thursday evening, the Degree Works PROD environment will be unavailable starting at 11:00 PM MT until Friday morning at 7:00 AM MT, while Oracle Quarter 3 updates are deployed. During this time, ALL Degree Works services will be inaccessible.
***Workday Downtime for Friday, 8/11 through Saturday, 8/12***
Due to monthly planned maintenance, Workday tenants will be unavailable this week as follows:
- Production tenants will be unavailable for a maximum of 7 hours from Friday, August 11th, 12:00 AM midnight MT to Saturday, August 12th at 7:00 AM MT.
- Sandbox, Sandbox Preview, and Implementation tenants will be unavailable for a maximum of 12 hours beginning Friday, August 11th at 7:00 PM MT to Saturday, August 12th at 7:00 AM MT.
***Banner PROD Downtime for Saturday, 8/12***
Beginning at 7:00 AM MT Saturday, 8/12, and lasting until approximately 11:00 AM, the Banner Production environment will be unavailable while 2nd Quarter updates are deployed. During this time, ALL Banner PROD services will be unavailable, including Banner Admin, Self-Service, Web-Services, and School Services, etc.
