Beginning at 9:00 PM on Thursday, 3/19/2020, Computing Services will be installing Microsoft Windows patches to campus computers. Employees are encouraged to log off but leave their computers on when leaving work tomorrow to assist in the installation of these patches.
Also during the maintenance window, Computing Services will be performing maintenance and installing updates and patches to the TLS certificates, as well as proxy and Windows servers. Throughout this time, users will experience intermittent outages (5-15 minutes) and brief interruptions to network services as systems reboot.
In addition, we will be performing PoE (power over ethernet) updates in campus buildings related to access points, security cameras, and VoIP phones. When arriving to work on Friday morning, your phone should function normally. However, if you have any problems, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us by calling the ASU Computing Services Helpdesk at 7741 or contact us via email at computingservices@adams.edu.
Computing Services thanks you for your patience and understanding as we perform these critical maintenance activities. As always, if you have any questions, please call the ASU Computing Services Helpdesk at 7741 or contact us via email at computingservices@adams.edu.
Have a great day,
Computing Services
