Apple thinks of creating a new app for iPhone and iPad

The leader and innovator in the high-tech industry, Apple, has set a new goal in front of the company’s management. The company wants to offer an online payment service to its customers, making it a direct competitor of the current leader in online payments, PayPal. The company’s management team that deals with iTunes and the App Store has met with some of the leaders in this industry to discuss the possibilities of Apple joining in.
Apple is not a complete rookie in the business of online payments. The company has been enabling its customers to buy digital content from iTunes and mobile applications from the App Store for a few years now. This means that they already have the credit card information of millions of people. However, Apple wants to expand on these already explored services and occupy and potentially dominate one more sector of the economy – online shopping and payments. Jenifer Bailey has been the chief of the Department for online stores of the company for more than 10 years. Her most recent job is to create a new form of business based on the online payments and to fully expand it. This also testifies for the company’s serious intentions to join the industry. The most adequate question regarding online payments and purchases is: how are Apple’s customers going to be guaranteed of the privacy and security of their transactions? The technological giant has already come up with a solution for this issue. The latest iPhone 5 and 5S have integrated software for fingerprint reading, which will ensure the customers that they are the only person who can complete the transaction. With the increasing usage of the Internet for shopping, advertising etc., online fraud has become a major problem throughout the world, and if Apple wants to establish its services on the market, the first and most important thing that it has to focus on is security.
The way our world and society are structured gives a chance to anyone who can offer the most convenient and less time consuming service out there. If Apple can apply all of the innovation and creativity that this company has produced throughout the last 14 years, then we can surely expect a new leader in online shopping and payments in the near future.
