Students are reminded to pick up their free on-campus parking decal and follow new parking regulations, said Ken Marquez, assistant vice president for Student Affairs. He noted the Adams State Police Department will begin ticketing cars parked inappropriately Sept. 27. Until that date, warnings will be posted on cars in violation of regulations.
“We are going to be warning students in parking lots until Sept 27, then tickets will be issued. If you think you are parked in the wrong area, you probably are,” Marquez said.
Registered students may receive their free parking decals at the ASC PD Office, located on the first floor of the Girault/Coronado Annex, directly below the Housing Office.
Students living on campus will receive an “R” decal,” commuter students, a “C” decal. (“E” decals are for employees.) Entry signs at each campus lot designate which decals are authorized to park there.
