Adams State University’s Theatre Program has officially kicked off their year with their first production, Nickel and Dimed.
This show answers the age-old question, “can a middle-aged, middle-class woman survive, when she suddenly has to make beds all day in a hotel and live on $7 an hour?” This question is answered in the fantastic comedy, directed by Dr. John Taylor.
“I am really excited to be directing this show,” Taylor says, “I picked it last spring, because I ran across the script and I heard of it before. So, I thought that the election year and with the issues that we are facing, this is absolutely the right time to do this production.”
This show will get your mind pumping. Ian Orbke, one of the actors involved in the show, says, “I am thrilled about being a part of this production. I get to play many roles in which, one is kind of a challenge, and a little more fun.”
