February 24th, 2011 — Maintenance Announcements
The following maintenance activities will take place beginning at 9 PM during our normally scheduled maintenance window:
- All Employee computers will receive an update to prepare for the upcoming transition to Banner logins over https. Employees are urged to leave their computers on but log off before leaving work for the day.
- All Banner services including Banner web will be down for approximately 4 hours beginning at 9 PM for maintenance and security updates.
- LDAP and the Bricolage content management systems will be rebooted around 9 PM following security patch installation.

February 17th, 2011 — Maintenance Announcements
The following maintenance activities will take place beginning at 9 PM:
- The old student web-page/club page hosting server will be taken out of production tonight at 9 PM, no impact is anticipated.
- Employee Windows PCs will receive an installation that will close a security hole with the local administrative password. There is not anticipated impact for end users.

February 10th, 2011 — Maintenance Announcements
The following maintenance activities will take place during our regularly scheduled maintenance hours beginning at 9 PM:
- Email system clean-up will take place at 9 PM to remove inactive Employee email accounts. No outage is anticipated.
- The Banner system will be town for roughly 2 hours for a software upgrade beginning at 9 PM.

January 27th, 2011 — Maintenance Announcements
The following maintenance activities will take place during our normally scheduled maintenance period:
- All employee, lab and TEC classroom computers will receive critical Windows and Office security updates beginning at 9 PM. All employees are encouraged to leave their computers on when they leave work.
- Campus web sites and web services including blogs, howto, LDAP, and others will be down briefly as patches are applied to them. Estimated downtime is 1 hour beginning at 9 PM.
- Modifications to the Banner firewall will take place at 9 PM, however, no noticeable downtime is anticipated.

January 5th, 2011 — Maintenance Announcements
The following maintenance activities will take place beginning at 9PM this Thursday:
- The Banner Web Servers and School services will be unavailable from 9-11PM for security update installation.
- Due to installation of a new UPS battery backup system as well as errata updates being installed on various systems, intermittent interruption is anticipated for all network services from roughly 9-10PM.

December 2nd, 2010 — Maintenance Announcements
The following maintenance activities will take place beginning at 9 PM on 12/2:
- Various Windows Servers will receive security updates and will require a reboot. No noticeable downtime is expected.
- Security patches will be installed on several non-production Banner systems, no impact is expected.

November 17th, 2010 — Maintenance Announcements
Below is the list of maintenance activities for this week:
- Thursday night beginning at 9 PM – All Employee, Lab and TEC Classroom computers will receive critical Windows and Office Security Updates.
- Various Server systems will be rebooted and unavailable for roughly 15 minutes beginning at 9 PM including the Print Server, CS Helpdesk Server, and a few non-production Banner Servers.
BANNER UPGRADE THIS WEEKEND
- All production Banner services will be unavailable this weekend due to the Point Release upgrade of Banner to version 8.3. Banner will go down early Saturday morning and is anticipated to be back up sometime Sunday evening.

November 11th, 2010 — Maintenance Announcements
The following maintenance activities will take place beginning at 9 PM:
- Various administrative systems such as LDAP, Web Database, Blogs, and Email systems will be rebooted for routine maintenance. Anticipated downtime is roughly 1 hour.

October 27th, 2010 — Maintenance Announcements
The following maintenance activities will take place this Thursday, 10/28.
- The Banner interface (INB) will be down after 6 PM for security updates.
- The Banner system will be briefly unavailable at 9 PM while the server is rebooted for maintenance.
- Active Directory will be temporarily unavailable from 9 PM until 10 PM for routine maintenance. This will prevent logins to the labs during this time.
