This Thursday, Computing Services will be changing the login authentication process for Self Service Banner (School Services) and banner related One-Stop services. This changes is necessary to prepare for the Banner8 conversion. This should be a transparent process for all users (staff, student, faculty). You will login exactly the same way as you do currently. It is the underlying hidden process which is being modified.
When: Thursday morning between 9:00 – 10:00 AM.
Will there be any interruption in School Services or Banner related One-Stop? We anticipate a modest time period of about 10 minutes when we will be making the actual switchover. A person who tries to login during this time may receive a login error message and will be asked to try again.
What should I do? Users should see no difference in the login process. If you do get a message that you are unable to login to the system, and it is during the swithover time frame, wait 10 minutes and try again. If you still get an error, contact computing services at x7741.
