$$ Maybe Money Can Buy Happiness $$

We may say money can’t buy us happiness, but in reality, many of us think we’d be happier if we had just a little bit more money! I know I’m one of these people; money is nice to have around!
The top three things people value is friends, family, and experiences! A lot of “experiences” cost money, just the same as wanting to do something fun with friends, money is always involved. Money makes the world go around!
How you personally feel about money has a powerful effect on your ability to get more of it. A philosopher says, “An open palm signifies receptivity to what comes, while a closed fist emphasizes combative self-reliance.” That being said, people seem to believe that when a person releases their grip, they tend to act in ways that encourage more money to come into their lives.
To me, I’d think this was the opposite, when you release your grip on money, you’d spend it more because you’re not as aware of what is coming and going; guess it’s worth a shot.Confidence is also huge! When you radiate confidence, you are more open to creative ways of earning money, asking for a raise or promotion and looking for that job you deserve! Be confident in yourself and your capabilities; it will shine through!
Another important step is paying it forward, we have all done something nice for someone else and we walk away on cloud nine!
I am sure we’ve all heard of karma as well. When we treat others with kindness and look for opportunities to help, karma will come around and help us in the future as well. “Generosity is also a currency that tends to get repaid in kind.”We have all heard of retail therapy, well here’s something everyone will love: Spending money can make you happier! But there’s a catch: buying stuff for yourself won’t make you nearly as happy as buying things for others.
Next time you’re at the store, look for items that a friend or family member might like too. I have a friend in a different city that sends me cards and sometimes little gifts to let me know she’s thinking of me.
I love going out and finding something to send back to her, and it brightens my day! Think outside the box when spending your money or time.
Volunteer at local food banks or homeless shelters, head to a nursing home and talk with the elderly, or just catch up with a friend that you haven’t seen in a while. Whatever you choose to do, remember, money can buy happiness but that doesn’t mean it’s all for us.
When purchasing gifts, we always feel happy because we get to see the look on the persons face when they open it, the anticipation of how much they’ll love the gift we’ve brought, or just the love we’ll share by showing someone we care!
