Grizzly Daze Kicks Off Semester End Events

This week, the Grizzly Activity Board (commonly known as GAB) is hosting a week-long event known as Grizzly Daze taking place April 19-21.  According to Ashlie Cogburn, the president of GAB, the event is “a yearly tradition that has taken place for at least the past six years.”
“Grizzly Daze is intended to end the school year with a bang,” said Cogburn. Furthermore, she states that Grizzly Daze is “a chance to get more involved with the community and host larger events that usual.”
Grizzly Daze is run by GAB in collaboration with the city of Alamosa, Alpine Electric and Light Shine Music for technical services.
The Grizzly Daze event schedule is as follows:
Tuesday, April 19   7-10 PM: Free Bowling Night at ABC Pro Bowl
Wednesday, April 20 10 AM – 2 PM: Super Fun Day (Inflatables) on Campus Green 6 – 7 PM: Main Event (The Norman Magic Experience) in the Carson Auditorium 7-8 PM: Band – Seabird on Campus Green
Thursday, April 21 7-10 PM: Casino Night in the Student Life Center located in the Student Union Building
The Super Fun Day and Main Event are open to the community and all events are free. However, Free Bowling Night and Casino Night are only open to students and staff of Adams State College and Trinidad State Junior College students.
GAB would like to give a big thanks to Adams State facilities, students, faculty, and staff for supporting events throughout the year.
