Spooky Colorado, a haunted house review site in the Metro area, is proudly sponsoring Four Mile Scare Home Haunt  on October 31, 2013 for Kayla Armstrong, 15, Lafayette, CO.  Kayla was diagnosed with a P.N.E.T brain tumor on August 19, 2013. This is the second occurrence of a brain tumor; the first tumor was discovered October 23, 2007. From 2007 to 2009 Kayla spent over 300 days in the hospital. After two years of clean MRI scans, Kayla was declared cancer free. A seizure in August led to the discovery of the second tumor which is inoperable. Kayla is receiving hospice care at home and because of the loss of short term memory, is unaware of her terminal prognosis. Halloween is Kayla’s favorite holiday and as this may be her last Halloween, event organizers are hoping to make it her best ever.  Four Mile Scare Home Haunt Is hosting a benefit haunted house for Kayla at 3980 Bosque Ct. Boulder, CO. 80301 from 5pm to 10pm on Halloween night to which they are inviting the public for an evening of fun and scares with 100% of all proceeds going directly to Kayla for medical expenses and daily needs. Local celebrity actors from City of the Dead Haunted House along with critics from Spooky Colorado will be acting in the haunt and will be available for pictures and autographs during and after the haunted house benefit. Spooky Colorado along with Four Mile Scare Home Haunt is hoping to raise $10,000. Admission to the haunt is by donation. There will be concessions with hot chocolate, apple cider, and snacks with 100% of proceeds going to Kayla as well. Spooky Colorado is also holding a fundraiser raffle for Kayla that runs now until October 25tth. Prizes include VIP tickets to the top haunts along the Front Range that have been donated by members of the local haunted house community to support the fundraising efforts. Raffle tickets can be purchased on their Facebook page: www/facebook.com/spookycolorado or on their web site: http://spookycolorado.com/?event=spooky-colorado-benefit-for-kayla.
If you can’t make the benefit and wish to donate without entering the raffle, you can do so at: https://fundrazr.com/campaigns/0ap30/ab/326R26.
