Whether or not you are procrastinating for finals or are looking for something new to read, here is a list of books that I would recommend for the avid reader.

Frozen  by: Melissa de la Cruz, Michael Johnston

Frozen is set in a futuristic Las Vegas that is now covered in ice. The temperature is always set at constantly freezing, as is the rest of the destroyed world. Las Vegas is still the thriving town of people throwing away their money, despite the whispers that there is sinister sorcery lurking about. The main character in this story is Natasha Kestal (Nat), who is a blackjack dealer looking for a place called “the blue.” The rumors are that the place is a paradise where the sun shines and the water is the perfect crystal turquoise. Nat’s problem is trying to reach “the blue” through the dangerous path with a ragtag crew of mercenaries lead by Ryan Wesson.
