Next STEM Saturday, Sept. 28 Focuses on Biology

ALAMOSA (September 23) –Adams State University presents two free STEM Saturdays this week.
“Biology with computers: plants, animals, and the gases they use,” by Dr. Kristy Duran, assistant professor of biology, will be held from 9 a.m. until noon, September 28, in Porter Hall room 135. Duran’s workshop is appropriate for grades 4-6.
From noon until 5 p.m., on September 28, Dr. Tim Armstrong, professor of biology, will lead a field trip to Zapata Falls. The group will meet in the west parking lot of Porter Hall. Grades 6-12 are welcome.
