Adams State cvollege senior quarterback Stephan Baca has been named as the November 4th ASCGrizzlies.com and South Coloradan Athlete o the week after he helped lead the Adams State Grizzlies to a victory over archrival, Wester State. Baca ran for the most rushing yards in at least two years. he also oset a record for most all-purpose yards. This record appears to be an all-time record because current Sports Information Director, Chris Day does not ave a better record and neither does previous Sports Information Director Lloyd Engen.
The online voting for Athlete of the Week on ASCGrizzlies.com was a blowout for Baca as he got 70.7 percent of 157 votes casted. Second place when to Kirsten Dorsey of the soccer team who had 16 percent of the votes. Darcy Jennyings-Calkins of the volleyball team rounded out the contestants with 12.7 percent.
