ALAMOSA (April 8) – The Adams State University Faculty Clarinet Recital by Alyssa Powell will begin at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, April 18, in Leon Memorial Hall. Please note the time change of this event.
Powell, adjunct clarinet and saxophone instructor, recently completed her master’s degree in music from the University of New Mexico. She will be joined on this recital by friend and fellow UNM graduate, Matthew Harris on saxophone.
The program will include a great deal of variety with pieces by Carl Maria von Weber, Miklós Rózsa, Barry Cockcroft, and Gregory Wanamaker.
The recital is free to AS&F and Friends of Music. Tickets are $5 for adults and $1 for students and seniors.
