Grizzlies’ Lamb Joines Outlaws Coaching Staff

It has been announced that Adams State College director of lacrosse Jason Lamb will serve on the coaching staff of the Denver Outlaws professional lacrosse team this summer.
Lamb, who is the head coach of both the Grizzlies’ first-year men’s and women’s lacrosse teams, will begin his duties with the Outlaws, a member of Major League Lacrosse, at the team’s pre-season training camp from Apr. 29 – May 1.  The team then begins their 12-game regular season schedule on Saturday, May 14 against the Hamilton (Ontario) Nationals at Invesco Field at Mile High.
“Jason comes to us with a ton of lacrosse experience at many different levels,” Outlaws’ general manager Brian Reese said. “We are happy to add a coach of Jason’s caliber to our staff.”
Prior to coaching at Adams State, Lamb worked as the head men’s lacrosse coach at Brigham Young University from 1995-2010. During his career with the Cougars, Lamb compiled a 213-69 (.755) record and guided his teams to three Men’s Collegiate Lacrosse Association Championships.
“I’m excited for this opportunity to work with the best lacrosse players in the world,” Lamb said. “This is a unique challenge to learn from the best while contributing to the team’s drive to a first ever MLL Championship.”
