Do you like to laugh?
Adams State College’s Theatre Department has a newly formed Comedy Improv Troupe, “Don’t Feed Us After Midnight” who would love to make you laugh!
They perform both short form improvisation, such as can be seen on the hit comedy television show “Whose Line Is It Anyway,” and long form improv, which takes a suggestion from the audience and creates a long improvised piece from the suggestion.
The group is made up of students from all over campus, with a variety of majors including theatre, mathematics, and biology. Some of the performers were enrolled in a course on improvisation at the college last semester. Others were in improv troupes in their high schools. For others this is their very first foray into comedy improvisation.
The troupe is led by Asst. Professor Jenna Neilsen. Professor Neilsen is in her fourth year teaching at Adams. She loves teaching improvisation, performing improvisation and watching improvisation.
So, she has the perfect job!
