The Adams State College Police Department is investigating a reported burglary in the Student Union Building that occurred either late Sunday, February 7 or early Monday, February 8, 2010, according to ASCPD Chief Joel Shults.
Two large screen televisions, along with several other electronic devices and video game consoles, were removed from the second floor recreation and lounge area known as the Loft. The two 67 inch Samsung flat screen televisions are valued at over $2,200 each. All of the missing items are uniquely identifiable.
“We have collected physical evidence, and we know that more than one person was involved in this crime. Conspiracies almost always fail, so I am confident that we will have a successful outcome in this investigation,” Shults said.
If anyone has any information that may assist the police in this investigation, they are strongly encouraged to call Crimestoppers at 589-4111. Calls to Crimestoppers may remain anonymous and in addition may be eligible for a cash reward.
