ALAMOSA (April 14) – The spring Adams State University Percussion Extravaganza begins at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 23, in Leon Memorial Hall.
Directed by James Doyle, assistant professor of music, the concert will feature the Brazilian Samba Band, the Zimbabwe Marimba Band, the Guatemalan Marimba Band, Ghanaian drumming, the Community Steel Band, and some traditional Irish music.
Tickets are free to Friends of Music and AS&F members; and $1 for students and $5 for adults.
