Westboro Baptist Church Represents Everything Wrong with Humanity

Almost two months after the United States Supreme Court ruled that the Westboro Baptist Church could legally protest soldiers’ funerals, the church members finally got what they deserved – to be beaten, physically.
Two weeks ago, while attempting to protest a soldier’s funeral in Rankin County, Mississippi, the citizens of Rankin County pulled together and chose to take the law into their own hands.
One church member arrived in Rankin County a few days before the funeral.  While at a gas station making uncouth remarks, the man was beaten by someone that none of the witnesses could remember.
Just a few days later, Rankin County citizens effectively detained the remaining church members in their hotel parking lot, probably giving the potential picketers a taste of their vile actions.  Rankin County law enforcement couldn’t do anything about the issue because none of the witnesses could remember a thing.
The Westboro Baptist Church has been terrorizing funerals, public events, and the like because the church wants to remind the nation of its sins.  The church specifically likes to picket soldiers’ funeral arguing that the soldiers are dying because of homosexuality.
But the church is going to great lengths to make their useless, pathetic voice heard.
Rep. Gabrielle Giffords will attend her husband’s shuttle launch in Orlando after being medically cleared this week.  A messenger from God, the church claims, shot Giffords, – “to remind this nation that the Lord sent the shooter to Arizona to punish this nation for its sins,” their website says.
Senseless bigots.
These beguilingly deceptive religious “people” have no clue, and the Westboro Baptist Church represents everything that is wrong with humanity.  Instead of welcoming diversity and loving one another, this church hates.
In reality, their use of the word church should be used in the loosest sense of the word. As Jon Stewart so eloquently phrased it on his show in early March, “The Westboro Baptist Church is no more a church than Church’s Fried Chicken is a church. It’s really just one pustulent family spewing perverted religious doctrine from their herpetic ass-like mouth holes who have somehow figured out how not to pay taxes.”
This church is a vehicle for pain and suffering.  This church is everything that traditional Christian beliefs teach against.  The hypocritical bigots protest because they believe this nation is full of sin.  What they do not realize is that they are the sin; they are the evil.
Earlier this week the church announced it will protest the Ponderosa High School graduation commencement ceremony in response to Ponderosa High School student Ryan Wheeler’s editorial in the Denver Post.
Wheeler wrote that he struggles to understand why the First Amendment protects the speech of the Westboro Baptist Church.  For that, Wheeler and Ponderosa High School will be graced with the presence of these bigoted church members.
Westboro Baptist Church has become a cesspool for abuses of the Bill of Rights.  The First Amendment was aimed to protect people, not to further bigotry in America.
Instead, the rest of the United States must be subjected to the free speech abuses conducted by the spawn of Satan, otherwise known as the Westboro Baptist Church.
I hate to hope for violence, but hopefully more people act like the fine citizens of Rankin County.  The courts did nothing to help fallen soldiers or the rest of U.S.  Politics and media coverage are not helping, either.
Maybe other communities can rise against the blatant bigotry and hatred that is oozing from the malicious pores of the Westboro Baptist Church.

One response to “Westboro Baptist Church Represents Everything Wrong with Humanity”

  1. No. It is wrong to hate your enemies. Their actions are wrong and they speak the word of Satan but you must understand their sins come from hate. The same hate that you have over the Church. I don’t know if you believe in God or not but I do and I can tell you this.
Satan is crafty and incredibly intelligent. He uses people like these to push your buttons until you become no better than them. In your eyes, I’m sure your hate looks justified but I tell you that it is not. The only we way we can win is if we pray for blessing over them. That God in His grace will look on the Church with pity and help them to understand their sins.
    May God Bless You.
