The Adams State Grizzlies football team lost the game on Saturday, October 20th by a mere touchdown to the CSU Pueblo ThunderWolves, with a final score of 22-29.

In the first quarter, the Grizzlies were ahead of the ThunderWolves with a score of 7-0. In the second quarter, the Grizzlies were behind the ThunderWolves, with a score of 15-22. In the third quarter, the teams were tied with a score of 22-22. Then in the fourth quarter, the Grizzlies lost by a touchdown.

The teams appeared to be equally matched in skill, which is shown by their tie in the third quarter. The teams alternated scoring throughout the game, with the Grizzlies scoring, then the ThunderWolves, back and forth, for the entire game. The defense was solid for both teams. When offense cracked for one team, defense got stronger for the opposing team, and vice versa.

Overall, the ThunderWolves won because of luck and a lack of time. The Grizzlies are currently sitting at 4-4 for wins and losses. The next game against the Angelo State University Rams on Saturday, October 27th will hopefully put the Grizzlies at more wins than losses and push the team up in the ranks.
