Grizzlies attempting to break attendance record, Sunday

The first 300 fans as Sunday’s Adams State College women’s soccer season finale will receive free hamburgers, hot dogs, chips and drinks as the Grizzlies will attempt to break their women’s soccer attendance record.
The promotion is being made possible thanks to City Market.
The gates at Murphy Field will open at noon while kick-off against Nebraska-Kearney is slated for 1 p.m.  At halftime, the Grizzlies will hold a half-time contest for prizes.
The match, which is the last of the Grizzlies’ regular season, will also feature Parent’s Day and Senior Day festivities and could determine if the Grizzlies will qualify for the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Tournament for the first time in four years.  The Grizzlies are currently 3-8-1 in RMAC play with 10 points heading into a Friday afternoon match at Regis.
The current Murphy Field attendance record of 246 was set in 2005.
