Grizz Radio Revamps Style: Looking for New Listenership

KASF Staff

So what is Grizz Radio? If you came to the KASF Relaunch Party that took place Saturday, Feb. 4 you found out! We are the new and improved KASF 90.9 radio.
With a new logo, a new look and style and, of course, a new format we are rebranding ourselves within the Adams State and Alamosa community.
From 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday KASF staff and disc jockeys stood in the Alamosa cold selling hamburger and hotdog meals, as well as new KASF t-shirts, in a hope to reach out to new and old listeners – the event was a success!
We gained new DJs as well as new followers, and had a really great time! KASF would like thank all of the local vendors that helped to make the event what it was; Sports Print Plus for printing our beautiful t-shirts, Atencio’s Market for donated hamburger and hotdog buns, Alamosa Meat Market for donating the hamburger patties, Southwest liquor (located in Monte Vista) for donating ice to keep our drinks cold, and our local City Market for their generosity. Without the support of the local Alamosa community the relaunch party wouldn’t have been what it was, and without your support.
To our listeners and followers, KASF would not be what it is today, so we extend a thank you to all of you who support the local, student run, college radio, KASF 90.9 FM! Tune in, like us on Facebook, or follow us on Twitter, to find out what else is new at the radio station or become a KASF  DJ!
