ALAMOSA (April 11) – Daisy dukes and cowboy boots – the Adams State University Student Athlete Advisory Committee will hold a Backyard Bash with carnival games, food, raffle, and a musical performance by Carly Pearce.
The event, part of the annual Adams State Grizzly Days, will be from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Friday, April 25, in Plachy Hall. According to Adams State student Cody Morton, the Backyard Bash is a collaborative event to bring the students of Adams State together as well as the Alamosa community.
“The Backyard Bash is a time for students, faculty, and community members to come together as one group and shed the differences amongst us to enjoy a time of unrestricted fun.”
For a minimum charge, Adams State student clubs will host carnival games and activities and serve country themed food. “Carly Pierce, an up and coming country artist, will showcase her skills for a good ol’ home town feel to add some spice to this country fair,” Morton added.
The Backyard Bash promises fun for the family and all ages. A raffle for a big screen television will also be held.
