Campus Announcements

Beginning at 9:00 PM MT tomorrow evening, Computing Services will be installing Dell Command Updates and October Microsoft Windows updates to all Windows-based systems, including employee, lab and TEC Classroom computers. These patches will force a reboot, so please log off and leave your computers on at the end of your work day tomorrow to assist with installation.

Also beginning at 9:00 PM MT tomorrow evening, Computing Services will be installing October updates on all Windows production servers. During the installation of these updates, users will experience intermittent outages (5-15 minutes) and brief interruptions to network services as systems reboot.

***Computing Services Maintenance for Thursday, 10/16***

Beginning at 9:00 PM MT tomorrow evening, Computing Services will be:

-Installing Microsoft patches/updates to our test systems for future deployment. We anticipate no impact for client-facing systems.
-Moving the campus blogs page (blogs.adams.edu) behind proxy servers. Although brief reboots will be required, there will be minimal interruptions to campus services as we perform these maintenance activities.

***Workday Downtime for Saturday, 10/18***

Due to quarterly planned maintenance, the Workday production tenant will be unavailable for a maximum of 11 hours on Saturday, October 18th, 12:00-11:00 AM MT.

***Computing Services Maintenance for Monday, 10/20***

Beginning at 6:00 PM MT, Monday, October 20th, we will be upgrading the System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), the system used to push all Windows updates, software updates, and new applications. We anticipate this maintenance to take approximately 4 hours to complete and expect no impact to users outside of Computing Services while the maintenance is performed.
