Nursing program earns Caring for Colorado grant

The Nursing Department recently received a grant of $79,878 from Caring for Colorado to support a Clinical Placement Coordinator/simulation lab facilitator position and assessment instruments to improve performance through student and faculty feedback.

The program will graduate its first cohort of four-year BSN students next spring. Enrollment will increase by another 30 students in spring 2012 to reach a total of 80 four-year BSN students. ASC’s on-line nursing program, focusing on the RN-to-BSN track, began this semester.
