EARTH announces new recycling bins

ASU EARTH (Environmental Action for Resources, Transportation, and Health) recently purchased 17 new recycling bin units that will be installed next semester in Richardson Hall, Art Building, Community Partnerships, English Dept., Counselor Education Dept., and the SUB. Cost for the bins was $12,177, funded by EARTH, AS&F, departmental contributions, new construction, and Facilities Services.

EARTH’s Glass Recycling bin is now located in the greenhouse on East Campus. Recyclers are asked to sort glass by color: brown, green, and clear. EARTH is also looking forward to glass recycling by the City of Alamosa, which will shortly have a glass crusher.
