ASC Student Media attend Rocky Mountain Communication Association Conference

Representatives from KASF-FM and The Paw Print gave a presentation about Adams State student media at the annual Rocky Mountain Communication Association (RMCA) conference, held April 17 in Loveland, Colo. RMCA brings together colleges and universities from Colorado and Wyoming to exchange scholarly and pedagogical ideas.

Laura Garcia, assistant general manager for KASF, and Emma Mueller, associate editor for The Paw Print, along with faculty advisers Dr. Beth Bonnstetter and Dr. Mark Finney, discussed with conference participants how student media have grown and interacts with the campus. Conference participants also attended a luncheon and several panels on media convergence, a process in which ASC Student Media are engaged to better serve Adams State’s students, faculty, staff, and community.
