The men’s basketball team closed out their regular season home games over the weekend against Regis and Metro. On Friday night, the Grizzlies began by honoring Regis’ coach Lonnie Porter, a former Adams State basketball player and member of the Hall of Fame. ASU went on to secure an 85-52 victory. Saturday’s contest proved to be more of a challenge for the Grizzlies. After a rough start, the Grizzlies were able to pull within striking distance in the second half, but were unable to overcome the deficit and fell 84-79.
