• Utilize national-based surveys, such as, Noel-Levitz, National Survey of Student Engagement, etc. to help assess current programs, and create new programs that have a proven record of student retention improvement

    >> Will departments, committees or personnel who are primarily responsible for these goals be identified in the Strategic Plan? Will more specific time lines, goals & status reporting be included, or will those be available in other documents?

    • Utilize national-based surveys, such as, Noel-Levitz, National Survey of Student Engagement, etc. to help assess current programs, and create new programs that have a proven record of student retention improvement

    >> Do we have staff & resources already dedicated to this objective?

    >> Is there a proposed time line?

    >> Will we also be looking at related industry trends to determine what programs and skills will have value to students who will be entering the professional market?

  • I believe that alumni surveys (departmental-based and/or college-wide) would also be of benefit to our planning for the future.
