OMG! I hate allergies! I have been so miserable for the last week! These are definitely the worst I have ever had…it makes me nervous for summer at camp…my mom is swearing by an allergy shot…I don’t think they’ll help though. Anyone out there ever had an allergy shot? Let me know if they work!

Well, Our Town rehearsals are…okay. They’re draining since I cry every night during the dramatic third scene. I cannot believe we open in like two and half weeks! I’ve included some photos from the latest rehearsals! Enjoy!

So…. it’s 9:04 p.m. I am supposed to be studying for my very difficult test in Sociology of Religion class that’s tomorrow…..I am being a very bad student….

I’ve been studying for an hour…..after I slept, watched TV, showered, went to dinner with the boyfriend, and fed the hamster…..not productive….

I decided to come write and procrastinate more and listen to some songs from GLEE, the best show ever along with My Life As Liz, check it out! Ugh, the football meat-heads next to me are being very loud and annoying, making my procrastination even more difficult to concentrate on.

Some good news, I got cast in OUR TOWN as Emily and my boyfriend is cast as George! I am so excited! I cannot wait! At auditions, we had to be really emotional during a monologue and I was crying hysterically, it was awesome!

Well, I’m being yelled at by everyone on FACEBOOK to go study…I hate this…and annoying girls who flirt with your boyfriend, sorry but that high school crap does not disappear when you come to college! Any ideas on how to solve my problem?

Hello Hello!

I am back from RMTA in Montana and I must say, our theatre did fabulously!

There were at least twelve Adams State College theatre entries for the acting competition and thirty-four competitors total and well….David Truduea from Adams State won Best Actor and I was runner-up! We also performed “Children of a Lesser God” and heard great reviews from all at the conference!

We stayed at the Holiday Inn, a few blocks from the theatre we were performing at and taking workshops in. While I was there, I took a workshop on Improv, went to an Art Museum, ate crepes every morning, saw three plays including Hamlet and did absolutely no homework…I am paying for it this week!

The “Fantasies and Nightmares” plays open next Tuesday! I am so excited, my parents are coming down Saturday, then only two more weeks until SPRING BREAK!

Well, I have to go start my procrastinated powerpoint project (try saying that three times fast!)

Today, it wasn’t too bad cold wise but there is plenty of snow to go around! A girl in one of my classes wore a dress today…crazy!

Archive photos from Brilliant Traces went up today! I was so excited! David and I looked great!  (Archives are the photos taken from the plays to put in on a CD to have history of every show we did!)

I’m going snowboarding this weekend up at Wolf Creek! Never been, and I’m a skier. The boyfriend is supposed to teach me the ways of the board….we’ll see how that goes

Well, nothing too long today. Five hour long rehearsals back to back tonight, then the weekend filled with HOMEWORK and snowboarding and auditions with friends up at Creed!

Wow! I must say that school has gotten the better of me and I have been super super busy! I am the March Hare in Alice in Wonderland and we open in two weeks! Ticket sales went up yesterday at 8 a.m. and all shows were sold out by 2 p.m. This is very very exciting!

Things are getting hectic! I am in a student directed scene and Alice in Wonderland, a scene for my acting class and auditions are coming up in two weeks for another show all that plus cracking down in class for finals soon! Jeez! School is insane sometimes!

Thanksgiving Break begins next Tuesday, I’ll be driving home to Greeley after rehearsals and get there around midnight, then back again three weeks later for double tech rehearsals. Well, I’m off to get some homework done…Grr…

Well, the past two weeks have been pretty stressful. I was super sick last week and I’ve been spending more time being social and being at home rather than studying and working hard. However, although I’ve been slipping in some of my classes, one thing that’s so nice about our small campus is that I can email my professors and they actually help me get back on track. I just finished a make up lab for one of my classes. Hopefully I’ll be back on track soon!

Auditions for Alice in Wonderland are this Sunday! Saturday there’s a field trip to New Mexico to see a play! It’s a pretty busy weekend!

Wow! I must say things are crazy today! I titled this blog “Fantastical” with inspiration from “Alice in Wonderland,” the Christmas play this year and audition sheets just recently went up, I am busy looking for audition pieces already!

It’s the Art Extravaganza today,  so the campus is crawling with high school-ers experiencing college courses in Art, Theatre, and Music! I get to see some eager high school-ers in my Improvisation Acting class later today. After that, I will be getting the lobby and concessions ready for opening night! “Children of a Lesser God” is our Fall play and premieres tonight, a sold out audience, I’m so excited!

Well, I’m off to class and then a meeting before lunch!
