Computing Services Maintenance for Thursday, 8/31/23

Beginning at 9:00 PM MT Thursday evening, we will be installing August updates on all Windows production servers. During the installation of these updates, users will experience intermittent outages (5-15 minutes) and brief interruptions to network services as systems reboot.

Computing Services Maintenance for Thursday, 8/17/23

Beginning at 9:00 PM MT Thursday evening, we will be installing August Microsoft Windows updates to all Windows-based systems, including employee, lab and TEC Classroom computers. These patches will force a reboot, so please log off and leave your computers on at the end of your work day Thursday to assist with installation.

This will be the last maintenance activity before we go on our maintenance freeze for the beginning of the semester.

Workday, Banner PROD, Degree Works PROD Downtime + CS Maintenance this week (Aug 10-12)

In preparation for the start of Fall semester, Computing Services has several maintenance activities scheduled for the week of August 10-12, 2023. See below for details:

***Computing Services Maintenance for Thursday, 8/10***

Beginning at 9:00 PM MT Thursday evening, Computing Services will be installing August 2023 Microsoft patches/updates to our test systems for future deployment. We anticipate no impact for client-facing systems.

Also starting at 9:00 PM MT, we will be performing maintenance on several back-end systems. No direct user impact is anticipated.

***Degree Works PROD Downtime for Thursday, 8/10 through Friday, 8/11***

On Thursday evening, the Degree Works PROD environment will be unavailable starting at 11:00 PM MT until Friday morning at 7:00 AM MT, while Oracle Quarter 3 updates are deployed. During this time, ALL Degree Works services will be inaccessible.
