The following maintenance activities will take place beginning at 9 PM during our normally scheduled maintenance window:
- TEC Classroom and Employee computers (excluding MACs) will receive criticial security patches beginning at 9 PM. Employees are encouraged to leave their computers turned on, but not logged into as they leave work today. This allows the updates to happen overnight which will minimize any impacts on performance the installation may cause. If employees are unable to leave their computers on overnight, the updates will install once the computer is powered on, and will remain fully usable during the installation process.
- Employee email services, the ASC Blogs site, and the campus web database will experience an outage of roughly one hour from 9 PM until 10 PM as we install security updates on these systems.
