CU Anshutz Research Study – Chemical Exposure in Children in the SLV

Parents and their children between the ages of 3-13 years that live in the San Luis Valley.

The goal of the research study is to address persistent environmental health exposures to potentially toxic metals and chemicals in the SLV. The primary objective is to generate science based information that will lead to relevant public health policy to address Healthy People 2020 Environmental Health objectives to improve air quality, safe drinking water, pesticide exposure and exposure to metals including arsenic, cadmium and mercury.

Participants will be asked to provide a home water sample and urine sample from the children participating.
