Requirements for a Senator

  • All Senators shall have attained a cumulative scholastic grade point average of not lower than 2.5 on a 4.0 scale, through and including the semester previous to the election. Cumulative grade point averages of 2.0 must be maintained to retain Senate seats
  • Attend Every AS&F Meeting
  • Serve on AS&F committees
  • Represent Students and bring concerns to the body 
  • Represent your respective Department at the AS&F meeting
  • Represent all clubs and organizations within the Department
  • Make announcements about what’s going in the department at the meeting and around campus
  • Report back to the department
  • Talk with students within the department and address any concerns they may have on an issue
