So I wanted to do another blog since I miss writing about ASC and about what I do for fun.

So Since I have been back home I started to work at Rio Rancho Meats cutting meat moved out of my house into my aunties house since she has a bedroom open there away from everybody so I basicly have half the house to myself along with a pool that i can swim in whenever i want, grill the same thing and come and go as a I please so its basicly having my own place and I am paying her 100 a month in rent so it works.  I also got fired for fighting one of my coworkers so I am currently looking for a new job.  My laptop also doesn’t work anymore the motherboard is fried so once I get a new job I’ll get me one.  At the moment im at my grandpa’s using his.  Also as many of my readers know I am transfering to a Community college in the fall let me tell you not the smartest thing some times because not all of your credits transfer only 12 credits did out of about 30 credits so it sucks.  And all of the classes I took for business did not transfer which is not fun either!!!  Anyways I just wanted to give you a rundown on what has happend so far in the 2.5 weeks i have been home so far.

Your native New Mexican,

Alright so Friday I leave for Albuquerque to go back home till I get my Associates At the community college I am going too.  I’m going to be sad to leave because I love it here so much, but my family comes first when they need something I will do it to the best of my ability.   I want to give a couple shout outs to professors, staff and a club.  So first of all there is Michelle Romero who allows me to blog for the school so if you want to blog go talk to her!  She is our blogging mamma and will always help us with anything she is amazing and I will miss her. Shirley who is the campus minister who has been there for me when I needed someone to talk to or just someone to sit down and chat with in between classes. she is also amazing,  Dr. Linda Reid she is my advisor, professor and my friend.  She is amazing person who I know for a fact I’m going to stay talking too on facebook since she’s my friend on there.  Last but not least I want to give a shut out to GAB and all my friends I made while in GAB they are amazing people who you can hang out with and also a smokers case smoke a cigarette with before events, before meetings, after meetings before classes anything there all great people to be around.   As this week comes to an end and finals are ending its going to be rough leaving but you know what I will be here to visit whenever I can.  If you want to stay in touch with me or have any questions you can send me an email at santillanesaa@aol.com.  I’ll me more then happy to talk to any one.

Wish everyone best in college and in life and thank you for reading my blogs this year.

So me being the nice grandson I am and since I lived with my Grandpa my whole life.  I decided to call him and see what is going on back at home and to let him now how I’m doing.  First time I have talked to him since Easter weekend.  First thing he asked when I was on the phone with him was if I was going to be transfering to the University of New Mexico(UNM) or CNM which is a community college, They are both located in Albuquerque.  I didn’t go to either one of those colleges because I wanted to be away from home for a year’s. I know he misses me and all since I was like his son  but seriously He know’s why I chose to come here over UNM and CNM.  I prefer being out here then down at home.    My Grandpa is amazing though, he is such a smart ass all the time and is always having a good time no matter what.  I do miss him but I do not miss being in ABQ its too hot for me and too close to home where I can go if I need something. Its better being away from home and to be more independent then you can being that close to home where you can run if trouble comes about.   ASC is an amazing school and Alamosa is a great place to be I think!

Have a Grizzly Great day!

So this past week was Thanksgiving break and I can say this it was the best break so far.  I spent just about a whole day with my old crew doing a lot of different things like listening to music, rapping, playing video games, and going to Best Buy (we were there for an hour playing DJ hero and the Wii which was a lot of fun!).  I owned at bowling! I lost 1 game out of the Read the rest of this entry »

Alright so this weekend I went back home to Albuquerque, New Mexico.  It was one of the most fun and hectic weekends I have had.  The Balloon Fiesta was going on when I was there so there was way too much traffic going on by my house.  I live about a mile away from the park.  It’s an international event: hot air balloons and pilots come to Albuquerque and fly their hot air balloons.  There is a huge range of balloons from Darth Vader to the kissing bees to regular ol’ hot air balloons.  There’s at least a 700 hot air balloons that go every year. There’s also an estimated 100,000 people that go a day so it’s a busy time for Albuquerque.  It’s a good time to make all the money we didn’t make in between.  Anyways I went this weekend to one of the balloon glows since I didn’t want to wake up at 4:45am to go with my auntie for the lift off.  I went and had some fun with my family and got to see my niece and some of my crazy cousins.  It was good seeing all of them but by the time Sunday came around, I wanted to come back home to ASC and see everyone again.

When I got back into town it felt good seeing all of my friends or should I say “family” since we all live in the same building and we treat each other like family.   This is my home for the next 4  years maybe 5 but hopefully not 5.
